Yea..I had a silver tabby that did the same thing. Vet said I'am imprinted on the cat's brain and I've been adopted. Oh well...

My cat follows me around all day, but I dont find it annoying. If Im cooking, she will follow me to the kitchen and take a nap while im cooking, then she will goto the dining room and nap while I eat. The weirdest thing is when I take a shower she will run to the bathroom, lay on the floor, and watch me take a shower. Used to do it every morning without fail, the sound of the shower was just as intoxicating to her as opening a can of wet food.

She doesnt do the annoying meow thing though, perhaps thats why I dont mind. Its kinda flattering, actually.

My cat only pesters me when she's hungry or wants to go outside, or get me to open the door so she can sleep on my bed. That's it. Other than that, she's completely independent. If she is pestering me too much, I tell her to rack off by kicking her in the bum (very gently) or just tell her and she gets the idea. I don't take sh!t from her, and she doesn't take sh!t from me. It's a grand relationship :)

Off topic, but the worst noise Ive ever heard come out of a cat was when two neutered males, seperated by a glass door. They sounded like they were screaming NOOOO over and over again. It was freaky. Eventually after a couple weeks they could live together. Funny seeing two cats trying to fight through a glass door.

Flick a lighter in front of the cat, and he'll probably run away. If you get a fishtank, he'd probably just sit and watch the fish quietly.

Hahahaha, cats totally own us. We're being duped by these things and we don't even care!
