Is he like this all the time or is this a recent change ? Purebred ?

My Ninja Mouse will do that sometimes, usually when I've been really busy and haven't been giving the needed amount of ear scritches needed daily. He also gets anxious when I'm upset or not feeling well.

You could try getting a companion for your kitty, or you could try some tlc sessions where you pet and play with kitty.

aphexII,

It looks like the only viable solution is for you to become less lovable.

I have two cats and Ninja is my fav because he occasionally gets that way, he's so funny, he'll come up to me while I'm sleeping or just sitting around and gently pat my face with his paw or he'll follow me around.I find it endearing but your milage may vary.

Im seriously considering hooking a mic up to my computer so ya'll can hear this....

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG "MEOOOOOOOOOOOOO" BANG BANG BANG BANG "MEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

And its not like a cute meow, unfortunately for me he never learned that. Its a drawn out whiney meow with his scratchy voice.

:(

Problems addressed date:

Cat on the counter -------------------------------------------- bought a squirtgun, shot it everytime
Cat on my bed ------------------------------------------------- cat leaves the bed airborne
Cat yowling at my door -------------------------------------- threw tennis balls at the door to scare it
Cat liked this one rug better than "the box" ------------ cleaned "the box" (cussed at the cat)

Success was marginal. (except the squirtgun........ the idiot figured that one out! Best training tool ever)

Are ya catchin the trend here......... if the thing doesn't behave, at least have fun "training" it :)

lol, I'm almost ready to tell you to pm me so that we can make arrangements for you to ship the poor thing to me,unfortunately cats work best in pairs so getting a third would mean I'd need a 4th and that's wayy too outnumbered for me :)

I'd offer to put Lucy into the mix and get ya up to 4, but I'd miss the little furball

PS: APHexII, yer gonna miss the puppy-cat thingy (always underfoot) if you do get it to quit being "annoying"

One of the abandoned cats (neighbors dumped her when the moved out) that has come into my care has the most horrific voice I've ever heard on a cat. It sounds something like "Nnnnreoooowwwww"only way offkey.

He just wants some love and attention thats all. Annoying maybe, but you will definitely miss it if he died.

My cat died at 15 years old (1991) and was a wonderful cat. Yes she could be very annoying at times. But I wish she was still with us following me around and banging at my bedroom door to let her outside. I really miss her habits.:(
