how do i get into the bios in my Compaq Laptop?

Armada 1598. I tried Del, F10 and F2....non seemed to do the trick...any ideas? thanks

hmm, should be F10 entered just when the compaq screen first appears & before windows has time to start loading!

Usually Compaq shows a little white box in the top right corner, and that's when you should hit F10. I get about 1 to 1.5 seconds, if that, to hit it.

I go Crazy on that F10 key and nothign happenes but it beeps after a while. Becides that thsi is how it boots....Ram appears on the screen by its self then a curser under it blinking then the win 98 boon screen. Thats it.
