How do I get "into" an .exe file?

I bought a screen saver but I would like to look at the individual pictures (in whatever format they are in). Is there anyway that I can "open" up the .exe file without installing the program so I can just look at the images?

I am dumb.

OMG that was quick!!

There are so many freakin' geniuses on this board!

Too bad I'm not one of them.

thanks.

the program costs $129. I guess I don't need to see inside the .exe as bad as I thought.

You can still download and install it free for 30 days. If you don't like it you dont have to purchase it, if you do then you have that option, but 30 days is plenty of time for what you need I guess.

You should be able to find a dev tool that will show you the resources in the file that doesn't cost money, but finding free dev tools for Windows can be a pain.
