I ran benchmarks on my old system to compare with my new system once it was installed.

Got everything installed but when I go to run 3dmark11, I get an error. I looked up the error and found it's because I don't have DX11 on my computer.

So I did dxdiag and it shows DX10. How do I get DX11 on my computer? I had it before somehow.

All I upgraded was motherboard, cpu and ram. Still using same Vista 64bit.

I have the latest graphics drivers and all my Windows updates.

DDR3-1600 4GB (running 1333)

Ok I think the problem is I don't have SP2. But when I check Windows updates it says there are none. I don't get it. Guess I'll have to wait till it asks me to install SP2.

Downloaded but it still didn't give me dx11. I'm not getting it, I was able to run dx11 benchmarks yesterday, before I put in a new mobo, ram and cpu. Why can't I today???

Since you changed the motherboard, be sure you installed all the new chipset and other drivers from their website.

yeah did that

I just installed 54 more updates, not sure why it take so long for updates. I check and there's none, then 24 hours later there is 54 updates. Then I check, no more, then 24 hours later there are 36 more updates. Why can't it just give them all to me at one time?

It's just the way it works. When you ignore updates for that long there are so many it can't seem do do them all at once.
