How do I get DSL and Linux to work?

I have a pos internal intel2100 dsl modem...

It sucks, i know...

Is there a way to get linux to recognize it?

I ahve the same ? also about drivers for win2k since intel won't recognize that they sell this modem on there site.

Suggest you search online.. I have ADSL luck in on my side however it's the extral and ethernet sort of deal..

That still doesnt help.

What I was looking for was a way to configure that intel2100 for dialup. Its supposed to be a modem. Actually its more like a network adapter. In windows, you have to use a dial up type of thing to get the modem to work, so I am not sure if this is PPPoE or just a hidden DUN...

All I know is that in the telephone number is supposed to be set as: 1,1

Does this make any sense to anyone?
