You can fly a real fighter jet like MiG-29 and Su-27 for $13-17K.

You can also fly to the International Space Station for just $20mil. :)

But its Russian. Any way there's a program like this for the F-22?

We won't even let highly trained foreign pilots from allied countries touch that aircraft (there is a specific law that bans export of the F22 and only the F22 because it's that much better than anything out there). The F22 is a single seat (NO PASSENGER) air superiority fighter. Unless you join the air force, become an officer, go through officer flight school, place in the top 10% of your class and prove yourself worthy of handling by far the world's most capable fighter jet, the most you'll get is probably stand next to it at an air show.

Incredible Adventures does the same, but a bit cheaper. They take you up to the "Edge of Space" in a Mig.

I want to go so badly. :(

I would not want to fly into space through an agency whose website looks like it was made on geocities.... are they kidding with that or did Russia just get the internet?

For reference, NASA

I like how the bullets on the top left don't line up with the text. The pics across the top that look like they're from a $5 clip art CD are a nice touch too.

Great way to make fun of an awesome organization

He wasn't really making fun though, was he?

Get into a postition within the military or manufacturer that will allow you the opportunity to get in the back seat.

It will take you 2-3 years at a min to get to the point where it can be justified.

Or spend 2-3 years making political connections near an air base.

Become a radio DJ.

A few years ago the Blue Angels came to town and a local DJ got a ride. It was broadcast live on the air. Pretty comical too, as he couldn't handle the G's and got sick.

Here's someone who did it.

You sure you want to do this? :D
