The manual also tells you how to flash the BIOS. All ASUS motherboards come with a utility called Aflash that's used to flash the BIOS. Boot to DOS and then run Aflash.

I used the new flash utility from ASUS, called "Asusupd," and flashed from within Windows! It was so simple. All you have to do is download the BIOS revision you want and the utility takes care of the rest. Easy. No more of that dangerous DOS prompt and flash disk routine! ;)

PS. I just saw a thread written by one of our peers where he had the 1005 BIOS revision and seems to be missing quite a few FSB speeds, including 142, 144, 146, and 148. I'm not sure if this is a result of BIOS 1005, but I'm satisfied with 1004 on mine. FYI

tmarkley: i have two of these boards. one is brand new. i only opened it up to test if the motherboard worked correctly, and it sure did. i am willing to part with it at $110.00 shipped. let me know via e-mail if you are interested in this deal.

ryan - You got the wrong person. I already have the p3v4x. tinhrdep was the person looking for one.
