How do I fix this?

Hey all,
I've found that my GFIIU has trouble keeping stock 250/460 pace, and when I try to change it through the Hercules 3D Tweaker program, it gives me the following error:
Unable to change the AGP transfer rate
or something along those lines.
Please be advised I'm running the new detonator drivers with the card.
I know it has trouble with stock because when I'm running any game for a while, it will crash - guaranteed. If I run it in software it won't.
But yeah... what do I do?

Try downloading another proggie, like NVMax (from tweakfiles.com) and use that to overclock.
