how do I fix this wall? with *pics*

spackle, dry, sand, repeat until its ready for paint.

That is damage caused by something hitting the wall, not a crack. Fill it with drywall compound but the texture will be hard to match. You could also try to fill it with white latex caulking.

looks like stucco...is it outside? If it is, you will need to patch it with stucco. If it's inside, it's just drywall mud, but the texture will take some work to blend in...
