I have the creative 4.1 speaker set and when I play music, the vocals and instrumental plays out of the front speakers but the two rear speaker is all instrumental. How do I make it all play the same thing?

Way too many variables here. What player are you using, what sound card, is your computer set up as "4 speaker surround", is it a stereo or surround source ...

I'm betting it's just the nature of the speakers to replicate the low/midrange to the back in an attempt to create a better soundstage. Try unplugging the rear inputs from the computer and see if it does a full clone. Failing that, you'll need a 1/8" splitter to replicate front to rear and just switch plugs as needed, or a plugin for your media player to say "Okay, output an identical signal to front and rear"

Example now, using my 5.1 Logitech set - Winamp without a plugin only plays through the front + sub. WMP10 goes to all four, blended front to the center, and the sub.

I have a Creative Audigy card. It is setup as 4 speaker surround. I remember in the past I did something and I got it to work. Sigh...

Hmm. Never dealt with Audigys so I can't tell you their software specifics. Make sure that the Creative sound card setup is configured for "four speaker surround", as is Windows via Control Panel - Sounds - Speakers - Advanced.

Then try a playback in WMP9/10 and see if it goes to full surround. Also, check the simple stuff like the "fader" or "rear level" knob. ;)

Yeah it's all correct. I've been messing with it for the past 2 days...I guess I'll just live with it. =\
