How do I find out what radio frequency my local PD uses?

I think it's illegal to have them in your vehicle...I know there's something illegal about them. I really don't care though. It's not like I have a 50-pound sack of weed in the truck.

I have a 40-channel CB in the truck, but you don't need a license for that. My buddy has a 10-meter HAM in his truck and you're supposed to have a license for that...he doesn't. Most folks don't.

scanners illegal? i guess no one thought to tell rat shack. there like descramblers there fine to use and have as long as your doing anything stupid (like listening to 900mhz cordless phones ) (there fault for not geting a phone with DSS)
