My friend was charged for some wierdo hosting stuff we did not want or request...anyhoo, I've finally recieved a photocopied credit card statement from my friend.

Now, the credit card statement says that we owe $77.15 to

In2Net Network Inc. of Burnaby B.C. (www.in2net.com)

How do I find out if they are related to http://www.Bluegenesis.com of Toronto? Bluegenesis is a part of http://www.hostopia.com

Right, I bet you are saying "Phone those guys and ask them!!" Well the problem is, those bluegenesis m0m0s NEVER answer my emails, and they sidestep all my questions over the phone. They are some slippery bastards....DO NOT do business with http://www.bluegenesis.com

Thanks

if u got a domain, where is it hosted..
Because the only people allowed to change hosts are the administrive contact and billing contact. Technical contact is normally your ISP or your tech guy.

However if this was a thing similar to a "SLAM" which they do for phone systems.. you can get them for it.

Check network solutions's WHOIS files.. you should find where they are hosted and all from that.

Tell the friend to challenge the charge against the card.
VISA, DISCOVERY, and MASTERCARD are excellent at stopping fraud.
