How do I figure out what component is causing computer to crash?

My relatively new computer is crashing once every couple days. Sometimes there's a BSOD. Sometimes I can just tell it rebooted. Its usually not when I'm using the computer. The computer maybe a month old. It was built by a local shop.

MB: Asus P5N-E SLI
CPU: Intel E6600 Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB DDR2 800 - I'm sure sure what brand.
Video: Nvidia 8800GTX
Power: Corsair HX520
OS: Windows XP Pro

I suspect its the memory. Any way to prove it?

Small FFT in Prime95 doesn't crash my computer over 24 hours. (This one doesn't test memory much). The default "blend" which does test memory did result in crashes after some unknown number of hours. Is this a good sign that the memory is bad?

How long do I have to run it to prove my memory is working perfectly?
If it crashes, does it prove that it isn't the CPU or MB?
