Hi guys I was wondering how I would be able to turn on sideband addressing with my Creative Labs Geforce 2 GTS 64MB and if there would be any postive or noticeable performance boosts with it on...stability...etc

Is this a BIOS setting in the actual videocard or in the mobo BIOS itself? BTW I have an ASUS CUSL2 if the motherboard has anything to do with it.

Thanks for your help guys! :)

I'm pretty sure that it is enabled/disabled in the cards BIOS. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

This is the registry setting but I had to modify my BIOS with Biosmod:
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\System]
"EnableAGPSBA"=dword:00000001

I'm running the same mainboard and GTS:
With Creative Lab cards, all you need is either the CL Display Director program, or CL AGP Wizard.
The Display Director contains AGP Wizard and also mimics the Display Properties/Settings of the nVidia Det drvs. The AGP Wizard allows Fastwrites, AGP Speed, Sidebanding, etc
CL support
You don't need to modify the BIOS on CL cards, unless it was flashed to a generic nV BIOS b/4
NOTE: CL programs will only install if the card has a CL BIOS

I flashed my Visiontek to an Elsa card, and there was 2 choices I could use for the flash, One with SBA enabled, and one without. So the feature is actually part of the video cards Bios as well as a setting on the motherboard. But if it's not enabled in the card, no motherboard or software settings will enable it.

i know i have a creative card, it says so when i boot up, but the AGP wizard i've been told to download doesn't seem to detect that i have a creative geforce 2...could it be because its OEM or should i look for a newer version of AGP wizard?
