How do I enable coolbits for the 12.90 drivers?

I was told I needed a beta driver to enable coolbits, aren't the 12.90s beta?

Yes, 12.90s are "beta" as long as you don't get the WHQL version. You can get coolbits from Guru3d.com.

Go to your Display Properties and select "Advanced." Then select the GeForce 3 tab, and then select the button that says "Additional Properties." It should be there under a tab called Clock Frequencies.
