How do I download IE 5.5 SP2 - the whole enchilada?

I am trying to download the entire 17MB file but now all Microsoft's web site seems to allow is the 500KB setup.exe file, which of course goes over the internet to get the rest. I seem to remember being able to download the whole thing as a 'network install' or something like that, but I can't find it.

Rather than go into how much I hate Microsoft (despite how I want to), I will just ask for help with this particular problem.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

The first link goes to a Knowledge Base article that, for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to interpret. That whole command line discussion is lost on me (or it is hosed, one of the two).

The second link goes to the place where I can only download the ~500KB file.

Please help.

If you don't like the replies you get here, you could always try the Operating System or Software forums :)

Sorry to seem ungrateful - it's Microsoft I am unhappy with, not the folks in here.

I mean, why can't I download a full copy of the browser without having to know how to sling 'C' code? It is ridiculous... I mean, geez!

Actually the knowledge base article explains fully how to do it. Don't get scared off by the command line stuff, you're just manually entering the tags to permit download-only install. Download the little file into a directory with the same name as their example and you can use their example verbatim.

Download the ie5setup file (500K), then run the file when it asks which install you would like full set of components, etc. Select customise your browser. From here just click advance and there is a options to downloan only. This will then download everything you want.
