How do I delete a post...?

Nope. Only moderators have the ability to do that.

Yep, that would be the only way. I cut and pasted the "this is a test" to msg below it, then clicked edit and deleted the msg. Notice the "Edited" info at the end of the msg above.

You are not allowed to delete your posts because (I'm not sure if this has happened, but it would if deletion were enabled) trolls would come in and incite the masses, and then delete their thread (and thus all the replies within it) before the Moderators could find out about the situation.

I guess that makes sense and the moderators would be working 5X as hard deleting and researching...I will do the edit route...thanks

Just click over your messages and scroll to the right and select all & delete
