how do i deal with a screw that snapped in half?

spanky

i was putting a screw back into a compartment in my laptop, and it snapped in half. one half of the screw is lodged inside the laptop. any ideas on how to get it out?

in short, you are probably SOL in this case. It is unlikely you will be able to drill it out and re-tap the hole because it's on a laptop.
