my date is a good dancer, i am a horrible one
since music played at high school dances is mostly hiphop/r&b i have to dance to it regardless of whether i want to or not...im not worried though, watching you got served gave me SOME clue how to dance to hiphop

Absolutely.

If there's a good amount of hip hop, this is the way to go. (don't restrict yourself to just the ass, if she lets you, face her and grind her crotch too.)

It's easy, it's hard to look stupid doing this (unless the girl isn't into it...) and there's a moderate chance it will turn the girl on enough to hook up with you.

You should steer clear of trying any specific moves. There's no time to get good at it so any complexity will make you look dumb.

Just bounce around and have a good time. If you're too timid, or if you try too hard, you'll look stupid.

The girl mostly cares about the fact that you're confident. If you're relaxed and having fun it doesn't matter how good you are.
 
ask your date for some pointers before the dance, especially if she wasn't blackmailed into being your date.
 
it's a known fact that guys can't and don't dance. so it's OK to be a bad dancer 😉 the important part is that you're willing to go out there and make a fool of yourself in front of everybody just to please your girlfriend 😀

Actually I think I bash logitech and thermaltake in half my posts. I don't pretend to be making a statement. I'd say the same thing in real life. I was a little shocked at Loki's post though.

The "guys can't dance" post.

The vast majority of girls you see at clubs can't dance any better than guys. They have one move, rolling their hips, which moves their ass. So they go up to a guy and rub their butt all over them. Obviously straight guys don't have a problem with this, but I'm like, "Come on! Show me somethin! Do something!!"

I'm told alcohol makes you dance better. I'm also told that doesn't work for me. So I don't bother.
