How do I create the bootable CD?

I downloaded XP64 and burned it to disk but it won't install. 😱 Can you all lend a hand and tell me exactly how the bootable disk is made with XP 64 on it? Thanks.

If you downloaded it from Microsoft as a .ISO file and then burned the image to disk using Nero or EZCD creator, It should boot no sweat.. Check your BIOS settings to make sure that cd/dvd is your first boot device.

If the XP64 download is an image, then it has to be burned as an image. Simply making a data CD and copying the downloaded image over to it won't work.

Thanks that did the trick. I was overcomplicating things by breaking up the ISO file into its component parts. I now have a dual boot xp pro and xp 64.
