do macs even come with 2 cd/dvd drives?

i thought you had to image it and burn it

some of the old G4s did

I dunno what G4s you've been using but all the ones I've ever used have only had one optical drive. Besides, if they had a second, how would the keyboard eject key work? It wouldn't know which one to eject.

I'm sure you can add a second drive to one, but I don't think any of them ever came with two optical drives, unless you paid a lot more money for that second drive.

how about if I dont want to copy CD-CD and I just want to put some files on a CD? Do I have to buy toast?

AFAIK, you can just insert the blank CD, drag the files you want to burn onto the Blank CD icon that pops up on the desktop, then go to special -> burn CD and you should be set. That's how I've always seen it done on the G4 we use in the studio at school.
