How do I control the difference in volume between the F/R speakers in my car?

Balance usually refers to the left/right volumes. Fade is what usually refers to front/rear volume. Either way, it's on your head unit.
 
How would fade work? I have a single amp driving the left and right channels (both front and back), running from RCA inputs from the head unit, I think. The powered outputs of the amp are sent to both speakers on each side.
