Carefully.

Does the 3007FP have component inputs like the 2405FPW did? Use that. Otherwise, you need a VGA cable for the Xbox 360.

right, with a cable, but this thing only has ONE input and it's Dual-Link DVI. the Xbox 360 only has the VGA kit. and I've yet to see a converter, that isn't a 300 dollar BOX.

RTFM perhaps? My 360 came w/ the component video cables btw. And I agree w/ the guy below me, if your intention was to play your X360 on a 30" computer monitor, you should've used that money to buy a 37" LCD HDTV w/ 1080P.

The 3007WFP only has a single, dual-link DVI input.

There are component to DVI "converters" out there but they aren't cheap & who knows if they'll output something the 3007 can use.

That's pretty much your only option.

What do you plan to do, hot-swap between a PC & a console?

If you bought this display for dedicated console use you'd have been far better off buying a TV. You can get a very nice 1080P 37" 16:9 LCD for the price of a 3007, & have all the inputs you could possibly want.

The 3007 only has 1 input? That seems really strange to me. It should have at bare minimun a VGA and a DVI.

Thats what I thought, apparently one of the reviews i found said if you do not use a DVI Dual link cable, it will default to 1280x800 image,, GRRR. 1080p ToT..... Oh well.

can't do that. you can convert DVI to VGA but not from VGA to DVI. atleast not with the simple adapter. you should have baught a 37" TV.

If it is DVI-I or DVI-A, I belive you can. Only if the connection will accept DVD-D and nothing else can you not use a VGA to DVI adapter.

There's a thread about it in the forums at Xbox.com but the forums are still down after yesterday's maintenance to Live. I believe this is the link though.

The $10 DVI to VGA "adapters" are a physical connector change only, the DVI port on the source must support VGA output.

Conversely, converting a VGA, component, composite, or any other form of analog input to a physical DVI connection won't accomplish anything since the 3007 is DVI only.

There is no cheap and easy way to do this, & even the expensive route isn't likely to be easy since the 3007 only accepts two native input resolutions (2560x1600 and 1280x800). To further complicate matters those are 16:10 resolutions, does anyone happen to know if the 360 has a native 16:10 output option?

Hence the mention of DVI-I or DVI-A. Both support analog signals.

This is correct. It looks like the 3007 supports DVI-D only so OP is SOL with trying to hook a 360 up to it.

PS3 supports HDMI so you should be able to hook it up to the 3007WFP.

Also, with the HD-DVD drive coming out for the 360 soon, I would expect to see HDMI cables or something similar for the 360. Gamestop has this listed right now but I haven't seen any other details.

Unfortunately that won't work, the only component input cards on market only support 480i, & who knows if even that would be sufficiently lag-free to function as a console display.

I would seriously recommend sending it back and waiting for BenQ's 30 incher. Last I heard it's expected to have component inputs.

I'm not really concerned with PS3 and Box as much as I am with the HD-DVDs, but i figure they'll have drives for the pc eventually.

You're still not going to get anything native source for it for HD media (1600p).

Not that it's not a great thing to have for everyday computer usage and gaming if you're into spending a lot on videocards :)
The $1279 deal would have me considering it if I had a videocard that could actually support it ;)
