How do I compile a computer?

I have purchased all the necessary parts, so could somebody point me to some guides that would give me detailed instructions on how to put it all together. This is my first time doing this, though I have helped friends before, so it must be moderately in depth. Thank you for any help you can offer. In case it is relevant I have a 1.2 Thunderbird, Epox 8K7A, Kyro 2, 256 SDRAM, etc.

🙂
It's kind of ambiguous by saying 256 SDRAM.
if it's a PC2100 DDR than you're all set but if it's PC133 than you just bought a wrong memory.
You could probably still able to exchange it though.

In your motherboard manual there's a brief guide on how to install your CPU and RAM.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. The links appear to be very helpful. BTW, Yes, I did buy DDR. I had a friend who built a similar system and bought SDRAM, so I knew it wasn't compatible with SDRAM.

Really it is like putting legos together just be a lot more careful. Take your time! Wear plastic gloves or ground yourself to prevent static. Don't rush and make sure everything is correct and compatible!
