I know I can figure this one out if I had an NT computer here, but I only have ME, 98SE, and Win2K here.
I have a client that needs to change the temporary folder size or change it to his D: drive. He has a 15
GB HD that has a 2 GB FAT16 and a 13 GB NTFS partition. He's trying to install a strange program that
says not enough disk space or something like that. I think it's the temp. folder not being big enough. He's
got 1 GB of free space on the 2 GB drive and all of the 13 GB space free. Is there a way to change the
temp. folder to be able to be larger or tell NT to use the D: drive as the temp folder? I need detailed
instructions for I can tell him over the phone. He's not very computer literate. I will be telling him blindly
because I don't have a NT PC here. Yes, he was logged on as Administrator too.
Thanks,
Cory
