How do I change the default location for the win98 CD?

I hate having to put in the CD whenever changing network settings. I've copied the Win98 folder to my hard drive, but Windows still prompts for the location of the drive. Is there a way to set this location (c:\win98 for example) as the default location?

Thx

There is a registry entry that controls it.

Not on my Win98 system, so can not give you any more direction.

got it

you can set the install location in the registry under the branch

MyComputer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\InstallLocationsMRU

for general installations (drivers etc.) and under

MyComputer \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ WIndows \
CurrentVersion \ Setup

in the SourcePath and OLSSrcPath entries for the Windows installation
itself.
