How do I change Refresh rates in Win2k?

When I am playing a direct 3d game, it seems to automatically set my refresh rate to the lowest setting (59Hz) instead of my normal setting 75(Hz), how can I change this?

Find you Display Settings in Control Panel - go to Settings, Advanced and change the refresh rate. That will normally require a reboot.
 
the good old win2k refresh rate bug. there are a bunch of utilities that will correct this for you.

what kind of video card do you have?
