I have winXP and just installed a new HD.

I have a C, D, as harddrives and E and F as CD-RW and DVD. Now, G is the new HD. I can't figure out how to get the new HD to be E and push the cd-roms back in the alphabet. Its just not the same as Win98. :(

Its easy to do. Right click on My Computer on your desktop, pick Manage, when that window comes up on the left frame pick Disk Management, now just right click on your drives and pick Change Drive Letter and Path.

do all the above, or, take out all your components and shuffle them, then put them back in. Keep doing this till it comes up the way you like it?
