how do i burn/open/install a .ISO file?

i just got the file from a friend. and im not sure how to install it?

It's a CD-image. You can open it in a program like Nero and then burn it to a CD.

There are also some programs which allow you to explore the contents of an ISO file.

Ok i think i figured it out. I did it in Nero

make sure you create CD from an image file and not simply burn the ISO to a CD, hehe.
