I can get my playlists to the point of where it converts the files...but it never actually burns it to the CD? Can someone give me a hand please?

I believe you can drag the selected files you wish to burn to the cdrw icon in my computer

yes but if you are burning Mp3 you should have to code them to .wav formatt for them to be played on a regular CD player! If that is the case Winamp does a great job at accomplishing this task! But I could be wrong Am I! I use nEro and it does all this for me but thats how I use to do it back say 2 years ago!

I believe the CD burner software built into Windows XP is just a very rudimentary pirce of software. I think all it can do is burn files to CD, i dont think it can convert MP3s to CDA to be played in a CD player.

In WinXP, Explorer will only COPY a CD exactly as is.. no conversion, no idea of whether you want a data or audio cd. It simply copies a CD. So far, it's burned every copyrighted CD I've tried and anything else I throw into it. If you need to convert files, Nero or CD Clone are great.
