How do I benchmark my Geforce 3 and what drivers to use

HI
I just bought two Gainward Geforce 3's One is a Geforce 3 and the other is a Geforce 3 Ti 200
I installed the drivers from the Gainward Disk on both. I see that there are Nvidia reference drivers 21.81, 21.83 and 23.11
I am running 22.40 that came off the Gainward disk.
So, here are my questions.

1. I would like to run a benchmark with the current driver installed but dont know how to do it. Do I need a special program ? I have the following games installed : UT, Max Payne, Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

2. Can anyone recommend if I should use one of the above mentioned Nvidia Reference drivers and if so, which one ?

Many thanks

You can benchmark with any number of programs, but two of the favorites are Madonion's 3dMark2001 and using Quake 3.

You can also compare your scores to others with similar setups. Nvidia has the 23.11 drivers out, go ahead and use them. Good luck to you.

You can skip 3Dmark 2001. It's not accurate and not realistic in any form... It's score is not based off of FPS, it based off of many worthless features that you will never see in a game... especially all those features in 1 single game. I mean look at how the Radeon 8500 beat out the Geforce3 Ti 500. Only to find that in *REAL* games the 8500 took a distant second... Treat 3dMark as a techdemo and not a benchmark.
