How do I avoid a wedgie when wearing dress clothes?

I always get a wedgie when wearing dress clothes (dress pants, shirt, and tie). I think it's mostly from the pants, though I'm sure the tucked-in part of the shirt isn't helping either. Any ideas how to make it more comfortable? Would boxers help, or make it worse? Thanks!

Stop wearing your underwear around your bellybutton Mr NutHugger.

No. :)

Seriously, boxers do help? I'm gonna have to try that out.

Think about it. How would you get a wedgie worth anything without the stretchability of tighty-whities?

Stop making me think. :p I thought maybe boxers would be worse down there since they're looser and could get all jammed up.

Its 9,000 times worse with silk boxers.

Just use a lil' duct tape.

Wow, I can't believe someone beat me to that one....

Just put a strip or two holding your butt cheeks together. Bam... no more wedgies.

Actually, you can tape the duct tape to the toilet seat so that people can't dump without having to tear it off. :)

LOL at this thread.

I don't know what to tell you. I wear boxers and I never have that problem, but I wear boxers all the time so I can't really compare.

dude i swear go commando. been there, done that, doin that, gonna do that. i swear once you get used to boxers commando isn't much different. so long as you don't wear tight jeans. or any jeans for that matter. but in dress clothes commando works great.

Are you tucking your shirt all the way down into your pants? I tend to leave just a little bit of excess not being tucked in (just a little) so I can move without pulling my underwear around,.

Bignate603, I tuck most of it in but still leave some slack. I gotta go shopping next week anyway so I'll pick up a pair of boxers and see if they work any better.

Perforate your underwear so they tear more easily.

lol, I'm surprised this thread stayed decently straightforward...

Anyway, assuming that you have some decent sense of how to dress and what good dress clothes are, boxers might be too much loose material for you, boxer-briefs might be a good consideration. And in all honesty, commando might not be wrong either. ;) If you're wearing tighter or lighter-colored pants, you might worry about your boxer line...no worries when there aren't any boxers. ^_^

Shouldn't be too difficult to figure out, good luck.
