First I install Red Hat 7 and it all works fine, after the installation of the windows 2000 I can only boot in Win2k. So how do I add Linux to Windows 2000 for dual boot? thanks

It can be done by a little utility called Bootpart which adds a partition to the boot loader.

I just can't remember where to download it from....

I can email it to you if you would like it. It's a very small file.

Good :)

Let me know if you have troubles with it. Nevertheless it is easy to use. Just read the docs.

Thanks for the link; I just downloaded it as well. At the moment I have a dual boot: Win98SE and Win2K. I want to start playing around with Linux though ... this may be what I've been looking for.

Whenever I got around to update the dissertation, I will definitely include bootpart. Great utility!
