Ok I have WIN XP pro, I used to have my AIM, MSN instant, and ICQ all up in my top tool bar with search, and favorites, ect. But I just reformatted and I cant get them back up there? I right click on the toolbar and go to customize and they are not in the list of things to add. Does anybody know? Thanks

Which toolbar are you referring to exactly?

Internet Explorer Standard Buttons?
Or
The Top of the Start Menu?

This might sound pretty stupid, but I'll give it a shot. Since you formatted and reinstalled Windows XP, you'd need to reinstall AIM and ICQ again. Ya know what I mean? If you've already installed them, then I don't know why else they wouldn't be up there.

You can drag and drop a shortcut from the Windows toolbar to the IE Links toolbar.

Yep, that is what I would do too.

Open your documents and settings -- favorites folder and in there is the links folder. you can customize it all you want.

then right click on the ie toolbar and uncheck "lock the toolbar" and then check links

Oh, okay...
Right-click a space in the Standard Buttons toolbar in Internet Explorer, and click Customize. In "Available Toolbar Buttons", they should be in there if you scroll down. Sorry I didn't understand completely earlier. But, I think this should be the answer. Later... :)
