Does anyone know if this laptop has more than one dimm slot? I unscrewed the back and I see the 128mb ram that it came with. I left my manual back at school so is there a 2nd dimm slot somewher? And if so, how do i access it? Thanks in advance!

If I'm reading Crucial's memory guide correctly your laptop has one memory bank with one slot in it. The system comes with 128MB, which includes 64MB that's "nonremovable." This means the SODIMM you see is 64MB. You can pull that one and replace it with a 128MB or 256MB SODIMM. The maximum RAM for your laptop is 320MB. (256MB + the "nonremovable" 64MB.)

The good news is you can order a 256SODIMM from Crucial for $49.49 and right now they have free 2nd day UPS shipping. Here's the link: SODIMM for Compaq Presario 1200XL510.
