How do get on BIOS?

hi, I was wondering how do i get into BIOS on my computer, i run Windows ME and was wondering how to get into BIOS, THANKs

What motherboard is in your computer? Most motherboards require you to press "Delete" on your keyboard when the system POSTs to enter the BIOS setup. Try that.

Keep on hitting delete when you first turn your computer on until the BIOS screen shows up...

But if you dont know what the BIOS even is, I would NOT suggest tinkering with it.

do i hit delete before the computer is loaded, and when the screen is black?

Start pressing the delete key immediately after turning it on and keep pressing it until you are in the BIOS as MCrusty said.
