How do gay people feel about this?

It's rather offensive actually, and this is coming from a gay man.

It's the same as someone using a racial slur such as the n word.

I tend not to associate with people who use that kind of language anyways, and if I hear someone use it in public I tell them off. People often feel very bad when someone tells them off for using offensive language. Afterall it is 2009.

SO.. op.. what you're saying is you're gay... and if you hear a straight guy call another guy a "beautiful being" .. you think he's Advertizing???? And this upsets you because it's False Advertisement.

amirite?

Grow up and stop caring about something as silly as words.

After all, it is 2009.

except for the whole gay not being a race thing, yeah, same difference.

nobody should be offended by anything ever, who gives a fuck? If you don't like something, don't watch/listen/do/etc it, pretty simple.

Gay people tend to be pretty relaxed. I know a handful of gay people who say "thats gay" and "you're a i love you". Depending on tone, it can be good or bad. I've only met one gay person who got offended by that.

Medical Fact: The only known Physical indication of Male Homosexuality is in Penis shape. A Curved Penis is a clear sign of Homosexuality. This Fact is why the term "Straight" was first coined to differentiate Heterosexuals from Homosexuals.

It's like Christians being offended when someone says "oh my god." It just makes you look like a goddamn whiny bitch. I mean, Jesus Christ, people.

Fixed

Do you realize what you're saying when you say something is gay? What if I wanted to say something was stupid and I said, "Man, that's so Dari." Knock it off.

Confusion? Nope. Easily identifiable as an asshole.

Agreed. Easily.

I say shit like "faggit" to my brother ironically. I'm pretending to be a douchebag in order to be a douchebag to him. It's funny. I make sure to say it when nobody will hear, though, so it doesn't offend anyone.

It's not about the words bothering people, it's about people casting those types of things in a negative way. It's promoting hate especially when young people begin to immitate what they hear.

To me it's as bad as someone saying "don't be such a *****"

Then again there's no point discussing this type of shit with dumb redneck middle Americans

That'll never catch on.

You realize that many, many more people than rednecks say that shit, right?
