How difficult to rollback from 4.4 and how would I go about it ?

I foolishly ran the update on my Nexus 7 2nd gen only to realize that Flash is no longer supported. I have an Amazon Prime account and can no longer use the videos.

How do I fix this?

I would think that you should be able to sideload Flash again and it should do the trick unless they're doing something to actively prevent it from being installed.

Yes, it actually breaks the APK.

OP, you have to flash a full (old) system image. Make sure you back up data first...

System image is available from google, just load the 4.3 version.
But you will have the notification for the update quite quickly and it doesn't go away.

Someone needs to standardize this stuff like, oh, a couple of years ago.

They did, when Adobe canned development of Mobile Flash. You knew this day was coming since that announcement. Somewhat impressive that sideloaded mobile Flash apks worked as long as they did.

What needs to happen is Amazon needs to add a app for video on Android. I don't know why they don't.
