LOL, that sounds like a nightmare to me!

There was one that I saw when I was home that was a 1,000 piece double sided puzzle... except that each side was the same as the other. On top of that, about half the puzzle was soccer balls stacked on top of one another. All black and white. Looked like hell.

Doing it all in one shot would be terrible. However, one of my roommates in college would just leave a puzzle out on our living room table and we'd occasionally do some small bits of it when we were bored, and eventually we'd finish it and start another. I think that's probably the best approach.

Shouldn't be hard for anyone over the age of 6. :p

Just takes time.

Start with the outside pieces...
So if it was a square or a rectangle you would want to find the 4 corner pieces first? Is that right?

I guess?

It doesn't matter what shape it is.

You could start from the center if you wanted I suppose, but identifying outside edge pieces is easy.

Eli! I was just pulling your leg.

heh, I looked at that one yesterday as I was buying a 2000 piece puzzle. I settled on Neuschwanstein castle instead.

Dude I had that same puzzle added to my cart but remove it at the last moment cause I didn't want to buy 2 puzzles when I wasn't sure I'll be able to finish even one. Awesome scenery but looks to be a good challenge though.

The funny thing is what a dumb picture they choose for it. I went there over the summer(thus why I bought it) and thought it would be fun to put together. However if you look closely you can see scaffolding and a crane on the inside of the castle from the restoration work they are doing. One would think they would choose a nicer photograph, but oh well.

How about a 2000 piece puzzle of a completely solid color? That's bound to be fun!

OP- do you have the original image for reference, or do you have to figure it out as you go?

I used to be able to do 2000 piece jigsaw puzzles. Then i had kids. Now I have great difficulty completing their little 6-piece animal puzzles in wood trays with little handles on the 6 pieces. Those little doggies and bunnies look so much alike . . .
