IIRC, I watched Basic Instinct right when it came out to rent (or maybe on HBO) and then the next day sex-ed started in 5th grade. That was when my friends and I realized the value of friday nights and cable TV.

Girls' bedrooms in high school, well I guess it depends on what you mean by "learn about sex", doesn't it? I learned different things about it in different ways.
