whatever happened to sharky extreme? didnt they have a big blowup a few years ago? man i loved tghat site.
 
my dad showed me an article in some financial magazine about this dude Anand that had his own website and was raking in some serious cash... so i checked the website out and soon enough i was a member... been a few years now! 🙂
 
Through Google's search engine, and then I'd discovered that this was the most active FuseTalk-based message board among all the other boards on the Net that I can take part in.
 
hmm...i think i was buying stuff in another forsale forum and that forum closed and therefore i found anandtech
 
I actually think I was looking something up on Google, and came across this site. I joined up and haven't looked back since.

same here. Then I watched the hot deal section for years. Finally wandered into OT.

probably through google. i know my 1st post here was asking a question about a piece of hardware or software.

then I got sucked into OT somehow. probably from being bored at work.
I mainly visit OT and Software now though.

i was brought onto the little geocities site when looking up information about the upcoming k6-2 processors 🙂 I think via tomshardware or google.. can't remember which.



 
Hot Deals.

I was looking to build my first computer. Doc Giggles over at the Anarchy Online forums mentioned AT HD along with Techbargains as places to use to find deals on parts. I just kinda wandered into OT from there and have made oh so many wonderous friends.
 
My old boss would always tell me about all these computer deals and I always wondered how he'd find them. So that's how I got here. I did lose my old account since I used work email for signup and I had left the place quite awhile ago.
