How did you get over your first love?

Anyway, it's almost 6 weeks later and I still think about her everyday and miss her. I want her back even though she hurt me and treated me like a doormat. Did anyone else feel like this after losing your first love?

Probably everyone (that really cared). You have been wounded (emotionally). Wounds DO take time to heal. 6 weeks is not really a long time.

However, you should not continue to grieve overlong. Get back into "circulation" and find someone worthy of you.
 
I got involved with Quake 3 and clanning. Gave those up after gaming fun among the people I play with became very commercialized.

I don't think I have ever really gotten over her. I remember saying that old saying
many, many times.."Better to love and lost, than never to have loved at all".

I built a new one.

1.4 Ghz Athlon-C, 256 MB PC133, (2) 40 GB Western Digital, 32X Lite-Ion CDRW (thanks to HD forum), and 16X Pioneer DVD-ROM drive.

I'd send you a nude pic, but I'd get tons of visitors, and none of them would get what they'd hope for.

On a more serious note, I haven't. Let me know when something works. Haven't tried beer yet.
 
Only things I've found that work are time (lots, lots, and lots of time), and as someone said, a 2nd love...

I've heard this many times before. Anyone care to explain how this could be true? I mean, physiologically sex is nothing more than skin on skin with an exchange of bodily fluids. If this notion of also having sex with your partners previous partners is true then wouldn't it also be true for kissing? What about when a paramedic performs mouth to mouth on you after having done the same with hundreds of other patients? None of it really makes sense. Sounds more like something concocted from the mind of a fundamentalist preacher trying to scare people away from promiscuity.
 
just continue to lead a normal life. someone else will come along and melt ur heart again and this chick will be long forgotten.
 
I was sad pretty hard for 3 days. We weren't going out but it was sad nevertheless. I was shot down so to speak. After the 3 days I was much better. Just chilled with my great mates and carried on through life. This was about 2 years ago.

If it was meant to be it would have been. But it wasn't so that was that.

But now I have found a girl thats great and is everything😀
