How did you get over your first love?

I met this girl back on Jan. 24 of this year, started going out with her on Feb. 17, then she broke up with me 2 months and 4 days later, but in that short period of time, I fell deeply in love with her. Maybe it was just the fact that she was the girl of my dreams and I was amazed that she showed the same interest in me, I'm not sure.

Anyway, it's almost 6 weeks later and I still think about her everyday and miss her. I want her back even though she hurt me and treated me like a doormat. Did anyone else feel like this after losing your first love?
 
Well about a year and a half ago I dated a girl for a short while. She still occupies my thoughts. Not a first love thing, but she remains in my thoughts nontheless.
 
argh...going through the same thing with my second love now, er..who i want to believe i'm in love with, but it's probably just an infatuation.

time helps; you meet other great people, occupy yourself with new activities, and really one day you wake up to realize you're over the person, yet won't ever forget them. and that's ok, but the feelings will have shifted.

Just keep thinking of all the things she did that really pissed you off. You'll soon be GLAD she dumped you 🙂
