AOLhell

Then I tried to get DSL thru "Bellatlantic"

They wasted a month of my time, trying to help me activate it.
It turns out the local office was only in "test" mode;they were not ready for DSL yet.

I was really glad to get Roadrunner/cble access.

AOL back in the day.
We went from version 1 to about 5.0.
Back in those days, you didnt need the stupid program. You could just use Windows "Dial-Up Manager" if you knew the phone numbers.
If you did it that way, AOL was actually a good ISP.

Netcom back in the early 90s. Freshman year of college in 97 (dorm LAN), then DSL in my second year of school--been broadband ever since.

At one point or another I used all of the following:
Compu$pend (Had to have this back in the Novell 3.x days to get Novell support)

Delphi - Was actually a decent Compu$pend type service

Prodigy - The golden age for this was when there were no timed charges, dropped it like a hot potato the moment they changed the TOS.

AOHell - Blehh

Netcom shell account. (Had this from 1991 until it was shutdown)
