Intarweb, actually back when my parents' only intarweb access was AOL (2 years ago, they have since switched to Comcast thank God). It was New Year's Eve, and I had just gotten LASIK done and couldn'd do sht except surf the web and stay in because I was half blind. So I sign onto AOHell under my screen name on rents' account (I was visiting them for the holidays), and that Chat Match thingie that AOL has matched my g/f and I on keywords "working out", we both clicked on it to "Chat Now" out of curiosity. I found out she was from the area, we chatted for about 6 months before actually meeting in person. Amazingly we hit it off and the rest is history. Pretty insane when you think about the odds of me being on AOHell ever, and then clicking on a stupid chat match for "working out" out of boredom!

Well, my friend usually did a terrible job as a matchmaker, but it worked out fine this time.

She was a friend of a friend. First time we met, I was taking the mutual friend to the hospital, because he messed up his knee playing football. We stopped by her house, quick, to grab some clean clothes from her brother. He officially introduced us a couple of days later.
