i first found it looking for a classifieds forum to sell some laptop parts

If it hadn't been for what he did, I never would of come across ATOT.

Back around when the the K6-II was released. I was mainly interested in I believe it was called the Photon100 and I searched for articles about it and the K6-II and found this place.

Iv had many different names, because I lost passwords(because of hard drive failures/stupidity) and switched emails alot(because of moves).

I was also around the AGN Boards before their demise.

there was an article on a linux site several years ago about a guy faking the death of an imaginary person.
There was a link to the atot forums on that article. The guy was Dennifloss. Visiting the forums was one of the worst mistakes I ever made.

Is that any more clear?

I'm sorry 🙂 I don't know that much about Dennifloss either. All I know is the situation he created made news sites and I at least one of them was a linux site I was visiting.

The scary part is...there are probably still folks on there who are still pissed off at him after 4 years.

i searched for anandtech, and every other word i tried to search with it such as where, how, etc was a commonly used word...
