I was gonna be getting a DS on the opening day, and my friend already had his name planned out, it was going to be Eclipse. I thought, damn, that sounds good, I need something like it. So I went through all the moon names I could think of, and the got to Crescent, and I thought, hmm I like it. So my DS screenname was Crescent. Then one day I decided to join the forums (I had been a fan of anandtech for about a year before that, but I never looked at the forums before), so when I joined, I decided to use my DS name. I typed in Crescent, and DAMMIT IT'S ALREADY USED?!?!?!?!?!?! So I put my age behind Crescent. And voila, Crescent13. (Just so you know, I'm 14 now)

Combination of when/what time I used to BBS in the C64 days & from my fav movie of all time, Blade Runner.

Yes my alias is over 20 years old! Haven't used anything else over the years so i'm stuck with it I guess ;).

Well I was really into Rammstein at the time and I like the song Feuer Frei from the xXx soundrack.

It seemed appropriate because I'm 25% German and my last name originated from the German word "frei".

Feuer Frei means "open fire" or, more literally, "fire freely"

It's Arabic, I'm not. It made sense.

I always thought your name was based off of the Sith Lord from KOTOR I. Darth Malak.

I've used it longer and I've never played KOTOR.
