i was living in the philippines, and i was staying w/ a chinese family that used to live near some river called the phray chao. my first name is also the name of a river (jordan), and they thought it was funny to call me phray. it stuck, been using it since the good ol' BBS days. and i've only had it taken once, in which case i used thephray because thephrayriver was too long and lame.
