When I was in my last year of high school, some friends and I started working as co-ops in a local manufacturing plant. After a few weeks of getting acclimated, we were given some minute leadership roles over some smaller projects. This somtimes required us to lead a small group of temporary workers (unskilled laborers hired through an agency). These were usually men that had dropped out of school early in life and could not be trusted to use power tools safely My friends nicknamed them "Scooby-Dumbs" after Scooby-Doo's dimwitted Grey cousin. This soon becamed shortened to just "Scoobs". Somehow I seemed to be leading groups of these "Scoobs" more often than any of my co-workers - so they dubbed me the "Scoob-Master"!

This all took place back in the late '80s before Scooby-Doo became "retro-trendy" For reasons I cannot fathom, the moniker stuck.

So...... I have come to accept it.

I am the SCOOBMASTER!

My name comes from my last name + Bo. I was looking for a new AIM name that did not have any numbers and this was it. Sounds like Robo. Anytime someone wants my name I tell them its my last name followed by Bo like body odor...not that I stink or anything
